One of the benefits of Scouting is the ability to learn new skills and explore the world. In 2020 the troop is planning to head to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. While we are on our journey, we will see many sights and taste cultures unknown to the scouts except through books and movies. This is a huge event and will require a lot of planning and work to accomplish.

Our plans are to travel from August 8th to August 16th 2020:

Day 1    Meet in Anchorage, AK
Day 2    Rafting on the Kenai River
Day 3    Activities: Fishing, Hiking, Boating, Horseback riding
Day 4    Activities: Fishing, Hiking, Boating, Horseback riding
Day 5    Activities: Fishing, Hiking, Boating, Horseback riding
Day 6    Cooper's Landing
Day 7    Bay Cruise and Whale Watch
Day 8    Head home (arrive Sunday)
