2018 NOVA SCOTIA

One of the benefits of Scouting with Troop 22 is the ability to learn new skills and explore the world. In 2018 the troop is planning to head north to Nova Scotia. While we are on our journey, we will see many sights and taste cultures unknown to the scouts except through books and movies. This is a big event and will require a lot of planning and work to accomplish.

Our plans are to travel from August 4th to August 12th 2018:

Day 1    Leave for Bar harbor, Maine
Day 2    Saint Jon, NB; Whale Watch in Bay of Fundy
Day 3    Nova Scotia; Joggins fossil Cliffs
    Day 4    Halifax Citadel
    Day 5    Fisherman's Cover; Pier 21
Day 6    Lunenburg Fishery Museum and town tour
Day 7    Kayak with the seals
Day 8    Yarmouth, NS; Forchu Lighthouse
Day 9    Ferry to Portland, ME; drive home
